1890 Antique Black Forest Hunter's Theme Cuckoo Clock
Here we have a beautifully carved c 1890 cuckoo clock. The hunter's theme of bird , deer, rabbit, gun and bag is beautifully detailed. The clock works fine and sound nice and mellow. Cuckoo is the old style moving mouth and wings. Measure 18" H without antlers, and 14" W. This clock has had some mishaps in it's life. There are repairs on the frame, top ornament and roof. It is solid and looks fine. Only piece missing is one of the bottoms of one of the guns. Has reproduction bone hands and other wise all other original parts except for whistles.
