1905 PORCELAIN SCENT PERFUME BOTTLE WITH PORTRAIT MOTIF
A heart shaped porcelain scent bottle with a cork lined sterling silver screw top. The bottle features a hand embellished polychrome transfer portrait print of a fashionable young woman in an outdoor setting, the latter continues on the reverse. Condition: minor surface age and use wear; very minordimpling to the silver top; nothing further found; good screw fit. Silver hallmarked for Birmingham 1905, rubbed maker's mark "DL" for Schindler & Co. Article measured in centimetres and rounded to the nearest quarter inch. Height 5.6cm/2.25in.
